In 2016 Parliament began debating a law which would allow adults over the age of 18 to possess up to 15g at home and 5g outdoors. Currently people caught possessing small amounts of marijuana may receive a small fine. Those in possession of large amounts of marijuana may be charged with trafficking and sentenced to long prison terms.

Yes, it should be taxed and regulated, and should follow the same “rules” that are applied to alcool (age limit, can’t be consumed in certain places, you can’t drive after smoking….)

Yes, but similarly to how some cultures have a glass of wine to dinner and other cultures become black-out drunk, the culture around marijuana is what makes it a good decision.
